Dr. Adam Shepherd
Dr. Adam Shepherd is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Matthew Swan
Dr. Swan completed an undergraduate degree in history at BYU before heading to San Francisco for dental school at UCSF. He then completed a 2-year pediatric dental residency in Providence, Rhode Island to become a pediatric specialist. After practicing 4 years in Utah as a pediatric specialist (including one year treating children here at Pediatric Smiles), he developed a passion for orthodontics and applied and was accepted to a two year orthodontic residency at Jacksonville University in northern Florida. He was trained by world-class faculty that taught him all the latest and greatest techniques in orthodontics including 3D scanning and Invisalign®.
Dr. Swan and his wife Kathryn are the parents of 6 awesome kids and they love to do all kinds of fun things together, including camping, biking, golf, and tennis. They miss the beautiful beaches of Florida but are so happy to be back in Utah!
Dr. Dave Anderson
Dr. Dave Anderson is excited to join the Pediatric Smiles Team! Having taught 5th grade prior to dental school, he learned the importance of making every new experience fun. His priority is to make all visits to the dentist fun, safe, and educational. Dr. Anderson graduated dental school with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and did his Pediatric Dental Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, which is ranked the #3 children’s hospital in the nation.
Dr. Anderson grew up in the Four Corners area in Utah. He is excited to bring his wife and 4 children back to Utah to enjoy the outdoors, friendly people, and great food that Utah has to offer.
Dr. Kristy Rogers
Dr. Kristy Rogers is excited to practice pediatric dentistry with Dr. Shepherd. From a very young age, Dr. Rogers has always wanted to help others and throughout the years found a love of helping children. Dr. Rogers believes every child is special and unique and treats them as the important person that they are. She strives to make every child feel comfortable and empowered about his or her dental care.
Dr. Rogers grew up in the shadow of Mt. Timpanogos and attended Brigham Young University where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Rogers obtained a dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Rogers completed dental school as valedictorian and went on to complete her residency at Primary Children’s Hospital.
When she’s not enjoying providing pediatric dental care, Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time in the out of doors with friends and family, horseback riding, and eating ice cream.
